Scope

Full Home Interior Design & Furnishing

The client — a young professional in a modern Kilimani apartment — wanted their bedroom to feel like a boutique hotel: calm, luxurious, and effortlessly organised. The problem was scale. At 28 square metres, the room had to contain a king bed, a full wardrobe, nightstands, and a dressing area without feeling cramped. Mercy Komu's solution began with the Boman leather bed — its low-profile silhouette and integrated headboard wall create a visual anchor while its compact footprint leaves room to breathe. Behind a frosted glass partition (a move that adds perceived depth without sacrificing light), the Aurora walk-in wardrobe maximises vertical storage with pull-down rails for high shelves, integrated LED lighting that activates when doors open, and a velvet-lined accessories drawer that turns daily dressing into a ritual.

"Grace understood our family's rhythms. The kitchen is now where everything happens — exactly as it should be."
— Private Client, Karen
